Con una puntuación perfecta y otra muy cerca de serlo, William Levy se lució en la pista de baile durante la final de Dancing with the stars (ABC) y ya queda muy poco para conocerse quién será el campeón de la temporada.
Levy tuvo el primer turno en la pista para moverse al ritmo de un cha cha cha. Su desempeño recibió muy buenas críticas del jurado, quienes lo premiaron con una puntuación perfecta.
Tan importante era llevar este baile a un nivel de perfección que cada una de las tres parejas recibió la visita en la sala de ensayos de uno de los jueces, quien supervisó cada detalle.
El segundo baile de la noche fue en la modalidad de freestyle y el actor presentó junto a su compañera, Cheryl Burke, una rutina muy ágil y con un alto nivel de complejidad. Esta vez recibió 29 de 30 puntos.

'Dancing with the Stars' 2012 May 21 Review -- William Levy Is 'Sex on Legs'
Dancing with the Stars 2012 resumed May 21 with the first of two nights of finals action by the top three couples, actor William Levy and Cheryl Burke, classical singer Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas, and NFL star Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd. William and Cheryl started the hour off on the right foot with a fiery judges' pick round Cha Cha Cha that snared triple tens.

Pre-performance, William and Cheryl met up with judge Bruno Tonioli for some pointers. The feisty Italian called the Latin heartthrob's hip action "sex on legs," but cautioned him against letting his bum stick out. William was excited about dancing another Cha Cha Cha, and relished the chance it gave him to show how far he'd progressed since week one.

William, dressed in a shiny purplish pink shirt, hit the ballroom to the sounds of Pink's "Raise Your Glass." His Cha Cha with Cheryl was super sexy and stuffed to the gills with the very hip action that earned Bruno's praise during rehearsals.

Len Goodman was very impressed, calling the dance as "good as I've ever seen in 14 seasons of Cha Cha Chas." Bruno declared it "an intoxicating human cocktail of natural flowing moves." Carrie Ann Inaba reveled in William's continued "magic" in the ballroom and praised him for growing "miles."

William and Cheryl earned a perfect score of 30 for their Cha Cha Cha, and ended the evening with a total score of 59 following a near-perfect freestyle number. They enter the final night of the DWTS competition tied with Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd for second place behind leaders Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas.

Mayo 22, 2012. Hoy William Levy podría ser proclamado campeón de Dancing With the Stars, el segundo latino en lograr el galardón, pues sus fanáticos, celebridades y expertos ya dan por sentado que se alzará con la victoria.

"Mi genteee! Tratamos de bailar lo mejor posible! Confiamos en el apoyo de todos ustedes!", escribió el cubano en su Twitter, luego de su participación anoche, dejando en manos del público su suerte.

Pero esta mañana, el galán de telenovelas se levantó con muchas ganas y escribió en la red social: "Buen día, mi gente! Gran noche hoy! Espero que ganemos! De igual forma, nos vemos en NY el miércoles en GMA".

Para la compañía de apuestas en Las Vegas, America's Line, William será el vencedor. "La pasada temporada dimos como favorito y eventual ganador a J.R. Martínez, y así ocurrió", declaró Ben Eckstein, presidente de la compañía. Otra compania, InkLing da por ganador a William con un 45.70 por ciento de las encuestas, seguido de Katherine Jenkins, con un 29.49 por ciento y de Donald Driver, con un 24.87 por ciento.

Dancing Finals: William Levy Can Take Len's Criticism
When it came to William Levy and Cheryl Burke's cha cha on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars finals, head judge Len Goodman told the couple that the number was "as good as I've seen in 14 seasons." But when they performed their freestyle, he was less impressed.

Calling the booty-shaking routine, "predictable," Goodman kept the duo from getting a perfect 60 points out of 60 for the night.

But Levy and Burke wouldn't change a thing if they had to do the dance all over again.

"It [was] the freestyle," the Cuban star told PEOPLE backstage after the show. "It's free. We can do whatever we want. It wasn't supposed to be something that Len was looking for. You don't have to do whatever he says. We picked samba, who cares?"

As the proud pair head into Tuesday night's elimination, they believe it's anyone's shot at winning the coveted mirror-ball trophy.

"Everyone is definitely bringing their A-game," Burke says. "Just being in this final is really amazing. It's so close. Everyone brings something different. Normally you kind of know who is going to win. Last year, Rob Kardashian, J.R. – you kind of knew [J.R.] was going to win. But this season you have no idea."

But the ballroom pro isn't dwelling on her competition.

"I just focus on my dance partner and make sure he's the best he can be," she says. "When you think too much about the other people, it can really mess with your head. I've learned from my mistakes in the past."

William Levy on ‘Dancing With the Stars’: ‘I Never Came Trying to Win It All’
“Dancing With the Stars” fans are waiting with baited breath tonight as Latin heartthrob William Levy, singer Katherine Jenkins and Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver go head-to-head one last time for the finale.

But as they take the stage tonight for one more cut-throat dance-off, Levy told “Nightline” in an April interview he wasn’t really focused on taking home the mirror ball trophy.

“When I came into this competition, I never came trying to beat anybody,” Levy told ABC’s Juju Chang. “I never came trying to win it all. You know, I just came and I said to myself that I was going to give myself into this 100 percent and enjoy it. … I never expect to win it all.”

We shall see. The “Dancing With the Stars” finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Levy has earned a perfect score twice in the competition, but the Spanish soap opera star and former underwear model said his chiseled body actually put him at a disadvantage.

“It’s difficult for me,” he said. “You got to work actually on getting a little bit softer, which is a bit weird, you know, for a guy.”

Perhaps he’s being too modest. After all, the 31-year-old Cuban native also revealed he has been dancing salsa, meringue and other Latin routines for years. But Levy said he didn’t learn how to dance professionally until he appeared on “Dancing with the Stars.” He let the music guide his feet.

“We are very passionate in everything we do,” Levy said, referring to his Latin culture. “Through music, we live. Through music, we have fun. Through music, we enjoy our time there because everything else is so hard

El coreógrafo y bailarín vaticina un triunfo para Levy en Dancing with the stars.

La final está al rojo vivo. Hay una fuerte competencia y las tres parejas finalistas lucen muy bien. Hoy martes realizarán un último baile para el que sólo han tenido un día de preparativos. Gran prueba para los finalistas y sus respectivas parejas profesionales.

Mi pronóstico: William Levy será el ganador, seguido en la segunda posición por el futbolista Donald Driver y, en tercer lugar, la cantante Katherine Jenkins. ¡Veremos!

William Levy took on the cha cha during the "Dancing with the Stars" 2012 finale, putting on quite a show with pro partner Cheryl Burke thanks to her challenging choreography.

This dance is one that comes naturally for the Latin Brad Pitt who seems to feel comfortable with this ballroom staple. That was apparent to the DWTS judges, all of whom offered plenty of praise.

Len Goodman called William Levy's cha cha "fantastic." In fact, he went further to say that this particular rendition measured up in a huge way, being as good as or even better than any version of the cha cha that the British judge has seen in all of 14 seasons that "Dancing with the Stars" has been seen on ABC.

That said, Bruno Tonioli went on and on about this Levy and Burke routine. He said in his usual exuberant way, "That was that intoxicating Cuban cocktail of lateral forward movement…your hip action was fantastic and I am green with envy."

The American judge comment that the cha cha was the first dance William Levy offered during this DWTS season, showing his "magic" at the very beginning. The she said, "….[your dancing is] now sophisticated and you have perfected everything."

Now that's high praise.

William Levy gets perfect score in 24 hour challenge dance on 'DWTS'
William Levy might have only gotten 24 hours to practice his routine, but the contestant was ready for the Dancing With the Stars Finale. Getting into the rehearsal studios immediately after Monday night's show but the entertainer was ready for the live ballroom performance and his moves on Tuesday were impressive when the judges gave him a perfect score of 30. A fierce competitor, Levy seemed to really focus on getting the footwork perfectly.

Jestem zawiedziona, że William nie wygrał, szkoda.
Jeśli chodzi o ich freestyle Williama i Cheryl to średnio mi się podobał, mogli coś ciekawszego wymyślić, no ale cóż, to i tak był ogromny wysiłek, patrząc na filmiki z przygotowań. Ostatni taniec-salsa świetna.

Nadal nie mogę uwierzyć, że nie wygrał.

Przegrał z świeną konkurencją. Cały czas trwania DWTS był świetny, fantastycznie wykonanie układów tanecznych. 10 tygodni ogromnej pracy wielkiego wysiłku fizycznego i psychicznego. Świetna technika tańca, trudne układy. Podziwiam, świetna robota.

El futbolista Donald Driver se llevo el primer puesto, mientras que la cantante Jennifer Hedkings obtuvo el segundo lugar.

Tras diez semanas de competencia, muchas horas de ensayo y aprendizaje, el cubano hizo su última aparición sobre la pista junto a su compañera en todo el programa, Cheryl Burke.

Cada finalista tuvo sólo 24 horas para preparar su rutina. Ese era el gran reto.

South Florida's William Levy takes third on 'Dancing With The Stars'
William Levy, the Southwest Ranches telenovela heartthrob, came in third place onABC's "Dancing with The Stars."

The actor and model didn't get to take home the coveted Mirabal trophy Tuesday night on the dance reality show. The top prize went to Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd. Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins and her dance partner Mark Ballas placed second.

Levy had a total score of 89 from the judges for his cha-cha, salsa and freestyle dances.

"It was an amazing experience,'' said Levy on the show. "This show has definitely been one of the greatest experiences of my life."

Although he didn't win, he was already a big winner to a devoted group of South Florida fans who cheered him on every week — his Cuban family.

"He definitely makes us proud. We looked like lunatics screaming and cheering him when he got the three 10s,'' said Levy's cousin Zoila Maya-Sustiel, a Fort Lauderdale resident who organized weekly family viewing parties. "William is a very devoted, determined, and disciplined individual. Once he sets his mind on something he usually gets it."

Levy has been a show fan favorite and an overnight sensation ever since he began shaking his hips and unbuttoning his shirt as half of "Team Fuego" with professional dance partner Cheryl Burke.

South Florida fans tuned in each week, and Levy's relatives gathered for viewing parties at restaurants on the Broward-Miami-Dade border and ate Cuban food in his honor.

"He was already a household name in Latin America, where he starred in several telenovelas.

Between "Dancing with the Stars" and the network's news programs, ABC has allowed Levy to share his Havana-to-Hollywood story, which endeared him to viewers.

He was born William Levy Gutierrez and raised by his mother in Cojimar, Cuba. He was preparing to leave the island nation by boat when his family received asylum to Miami. He enrolled as a freshman at Barbara Goleman Senior High in Miami Lakes, where he learned English and competed on the baseball team. That led him toSt. Thomas University on a baseball scholarship but he decided to pursue acting and modeling.

"Modeling, I knew, was like a door for acting,'' he said in a recent interview with ABC. "And telenovelas was definitely my big break."

That came in 2007 when he had a breakout role in the telenovela "Pasion," followed by starring roles in 2009's "Sortilegio" (The Spell) and 2010's "Triunfo Del Amor" (Triumph of Love). Fans dubbed him king of the telenovela. After he appeared in Jennifer Lopez's video "I'm Into You" last year, he also became known as the "Latin Brad Pitt."

South Florida was one of his biggest fan bases, and the region has contributed to the show's rating success nationally and locally. One episode this month drew 218,000 total viewers in the Fort Lauderdale-Miami TV market. The show has been the second or third most-watched locally.

"He has an overwhelming following,'' said Maya-Sustiel. "He is known internationally between Latin America and now America."

Wiliam jest wygranym może nie w sensie, że ma puchar w ręcę. JEgo wygraną jest to, że doszedł tak daleko w show. Jego postawa jest b.dobra. Obecność jego Rodziny jest ważna. Obecność Syna miła tam myślę dla obu znaczenie. Mały Chłopiec popłakał się. DLa Niego Tatuś jest Najlepszy i jest zwycięscą i tak ma być. Cieszę się, że potrafił pokazać klasę jak ogłoszono wynik. Świetna postawa. Gratuluję, że mimo iż z sobą rywalizowali potrafią się świetnie bawić. Pogratulować
